Today we discovered our sandbox was filled with BEAUTIFUL NEW SAND!
Cassius enjoys the sand like he's at the beach!!
Hadley spent a long time working carefully on a sand castle. She filled a yellow work helmet with sand, packed it tightly, then flipped it over to make the round shape of the castle. Willa came along and said, "Wow, that sand castle is very pretty!"
"Maybe I should add a gate. Like a pillar," said Hadley. She walked in circles around it for a while to keep it safe from other sandbox-goers. "I'm guarding it". Then she scooped some hay into a pile around it, and parted one area with her hand. "I made a little pathway in it," she said.

Cassius: "We're making cookie dough"
Such a nice day for slowing down and hanging with friends.
Rose and Prater (among others) wrote Menu cards for our upcoming New Parent Reception. These cards will go in front of each plate of food, including our empanadas which come in pork, beef, chicken, and vegetarian varieties.
