THE CUP SONG...

Our Mystery Guests today were....Tasha, O'Malley, and Julia! (aka... Mac's mom, sister, and sister's friend!)

As you'll see in the video below, Julia and O'Malley performed "The Cup Song" (from "Pitch Perfect") for our class.  They did an amazing job!  We gave them a huge round of applause.  Then, with Tasha's help, we got to play a series of games where played the cups like drums.  We listened carefully to the drumming sounds made by cups of different materials (i.e. styrofoam, plastic).

Prater and Lucy told stories while they painted wolves.

​Lucy: Maybe he's the daddy wolf.  This is a leaf, that's why they're green.

Prater:  A winter scene.  A mommy and a baby.  Mine is definitely a winter scene because it's white and black paper.

Prater:  Wolves go away in the summer, they go out in the winter.

Lucy:  Mine is a summer wolf.

Prater:  Some don't like the cold.
