Sharing our Family Traditions

This morning we began our first of many Family Traditions sharing meetings. We were joined by Dagny's parents, Gillian and Paul, who shared their special family tradition of cutting down their very own Christmas tree at a farm in Maryland.

The children were so captivated by their story, they had so many questions, observations, and comments to share! "Did it snow?!" asked Vivienne, wondering what the weather conditions were like during their trip to the farm. "Before my dad could finish cutting it down, it fell over!" remarked Caleb as Paul explained how he cut the tree down with a saw. "You can keep it so it doesn't spread out and fall off the top of the car," explained James as Gillian   showed the children the special machine that prepares the tree for transport.

We are so excited to learn more about our Rainey Room families through these special moments!
