A Not So Mysterious Mystery Guest: "My Momma Made It." - Tegan
"I think he's really comfortable." -Lily
Bringing in her little bag of sewing tools, and a baby carrier, made by hand, Sarah Hou wowed the children with her gift to them and a way to transport Baby Ribbit, to and from school on weekends (to begin soon). "Oh I don't want to take Baby home," said James, "because I would have to watch out for Teddy." However, after James helped to construct the pillow to support Baby's head while in the carrier, I think James may be thinking twice about not wanting to take home Baby.
Abby was in awe of Baby in his carrier, and it was James' and Dagny's first time using the sewing machine! Maisie, Tegan, and James helped measure the blanket. It's approximately 13x15 inches.
Thank you so much, Sarah, for the gift and sewing lessons!
Thank you Jessica for helping create "Baby's Book"!
Abby and Caleb used awls and threaded needles to finish putting together the book that will go home with Baby, each weekend. They punctured holes into the spine with the awl tool and stitched in the five signatures of pages, to the completion of a beautiful book that will be made even more beautiful each time it goes home.
