Hugh, James, Will, and Caleb focused mostly on Seals and construction....

"I did a few drawings of seals, one swimming , one diving, and
one getting fed, one going on a scale and then water..."
- James

Maisie, Tegan, Dagny, and Abby focused mostly on maps...

Tegan: I’m drawing a map.
Abby: This is where we climbed
Dagny: Abby, your drawing is great even though it’s not finished. I’m drawing the zoo, the rest of the map.
Maisie: I’m drawing the zoo. It looks more like a maze but it’s actually the zoo.
Tegan: I’m drawing a map. It’s the whole map.
Abby: I liked to see the animals! And I know how to draw a fishy.
Dagny: This is the seal part.
-----
Hugh: What are they drawing? You aren’t talking about the zoo.
Maisie: We don’t know what we’re drawing until we draw it.
Dagny: Well, I know what I’m drawing. I’m drawing the zoo. This is where the tigers are, behind the trees.
Maisie: The frogs were like stones. Bounce them up or down and the little stones go bmp bmp when they hit the ground. The frogs were called Amazonia pebbles.
----
(Dagny and Tegan made holes in their maps using pencils and were asked why they put holes)
-------
Dagny: So I know where we started
Tegan: So we know where to go

Maisie: I wanted to show everyone how frogs turned into tadpoles and to find out more about that stuff and the numbers.

"My group (Lily, Elena, and Tommy) was focusing more on animals..." - Cate

"I'm drawing a crocodile, how they eat people's eye balls in one second" - Cate
"Look how much construction...it's when the zoo was different. 'there's no animals allowed here now.." - Lily
"This is the zoo keeper going to feed the tiger, papa tiger getting a bath...it's a family of tigers and there's a machine that gives fish to the tigers" - Elena
"This is a device...do you know farm people shave off sheep's fur and this is the thing that shaves off the fur. this is the goinder tool, it's where they goind the fur off.." - Tommy
