Melanie: And what’s their (the frogs) relationship?
Cate: Oh they are best friends. A good friendship…(references the book Swimmy)
Tegan: This is a like a little house and then I drew a pond inside of it.
Cate: They live in a big house.

Relationship: What is a relationship?
Tegan: When your good friends with someone, somebody.
Dagny: Good relationship with another friend.
Cate: The same as Dagny’s. Relationships is best friends with friends.
Abby: It means like you have to be friends with other people that don’t want to be friends with you, they don’t want to really play…with you.

Melanie: So what about the frogs, the Ribbit’s?
Cate: They’re just a family. Families have better relationships than friends kind of maybe…(sigh). They don’t sometimes don’t be able to be with them and their friends and live in the same.

Cate:
The floor is going to be water and the stairs are going to be water. Water stairs!

Dagny: Stairs cannot be water, actually.
Tegan: Yes they can! They could swim up the stairs.
Cate: Yeah like a waterfall!
Dagny: So maybe like build some stairs and then put water…and then a waterfall could be going down the stairs.
Tegan: Oh I know! I think they could hop up the stairs like there would be water pouring down from the stairs and they could hop up the water stairs.
Dagny: ...give them homes, Cate.
Cate: They can go to each others’ room if they want. So they just have to see the door knob. The door knob, the door knob made out of water.
