Getting to Work for Hugh's Birthday Table

"Do you realize it's just me and you [Melanie] on the committee?"

Hugh's birthday is next Tuesday, but today was his committees' day to prepare for his Tuesday celebration. Elena, Lily, and Will began the committee work by interviewing Hugh. Later on, Lily and Elena left the committee for awhile to check out the book fair set up in Blake Hall. So Will went solo on the committee. "Do you realize it's just me and you [Melanie] on the committee?" asked Will. This year the committees are even more flexible and the children are participating and contributing to the preassigned committees as they like.

Morning meeting is now open to parents and sibling guests on Thursdays and Fridays.

Will: One time my dad was on a run and he saw one.
Hugh: Is it like one of those round saw…
Will: Like the one that Victor used?
Hugh: No its not a saw. It’s like a vehicle, machine.
Will: Yeah one time my dad went on a run and he saw one of those and he brought me there and the saw on the road. And he brought me there.
Hugh: Did you get in the vehicle?
Will: No. I just watched it.
