Why should I talk about it?  - Elena

Picture
At morning meeting we introduced an experience with questions asked at Tommy's home visit: "Could I borrow baby Ribbit? How about I pick him up from school on Friday and bring him back on Sunday?" he asked.

We paused here. This certainly was not the first time that we have questioned if the children fully understand what is a question. So it was asked to the children: Who knows what a question is? What is a question?

What is a question?

A question is...
Tegan:  To say something that you are wondering.
Caleb: To say something that you're wondering what it means.

"Draw all the symbols on it" was suggested by some of the children for how Caroline should design her plate. She created her plate yesterday and today she showed the children how it turned out.
Now when Caroline subs she'll have a plate of her own.

Thank you again, Caroline for being with us yesterday and today! And welcome back tomorrow, Allison!
