It was a day of togetherness in the Brown Room. We missed Toniann, who was out sick, but the children enjoyed being together. We worked on special surprise projects today that we won't show here. but we worked very hard. By the end of our morning we were beat! A little group cuddle helped us to recharge for clean-up. After snack, we had Brown Room chapel with Gini. She read a book about being kind, and we talked about the ways we can show kindness to each other and to our families. Jack said, "When Lucy's crying I give her her favorite lovey." Then the children all gave Gini some love and kindness. Outside in the midday heat, things took a turn. First there was a huge traffic jam and just a little road rage. Then Sally, Louise, Elle and Grace got terribly terribly, terribly, sick and needed medical attention. You can barely see Elle in this photo because she has just collapsed. Grace: I got a tummy ache! Sally: My head hurts! Elle: I cracked my head open! Louise: My head fell off! Oh my! Is there a doctor in the house? At least our pet rock Shelly is on the mend and sleeping comfortably in her bed. Stay tuned for more adventures tomorrow!
