A late opening at St. John's still left us plenty of time to work and have fun together. Jill and a group of children mixed a number of new colors, including purplish-pink,  while Kate sewed on the big loom with Kian, Elle, and Sam.

Elle: When I do another coat, it gets darker.
Leigh: It's green like dinosaur.

Sally, while painting, said: I make slide. I make Mommy and Daddy and Marley and Carmeza.

We transitioned from snack to reading with Marley and then put on our raincoats to go outside, only to realize it was actually raining! Back we went into the classroom to sing and march together. Rain Rain Go Away, If All the Raindrops Were Candy Drops and Gum Drops, and Singing in the Rain were today's favorites. The musical instruments helped us keep the beat! Holding hands and singing So Long, Brown Room, we happily rode the elevator down to dismissal.

Have a great afternoon! Love, Jessica and Marley
P.S. Hooray for Marley. It's her first blog!
