Our Birthday Wishes Louise: I wish Kian could have two ships. Austin: I wish he will have a thousand pirate ships. Will: I wish he gets a puma boat that shoots.
Kian's birthday is in August and today we celebrated his half-birthday. His whole family, including brothers Michael and Jack, joined us for the celebration. After reading a fun Dora the Explorer book and circling the candle four-and-a-half times, we serenaded Kian and the birthday committee presented him with a beautiful red and rainbow wishing rock. We laughed that Kian's birthday wishes were all about boats, and he happened to be wearing a sweater with a boat on it today--more evidence that the birthday committee really knows him. To add to the special day, Jack (who was in the Tucker Room two years ago) spent part of the morning in the Rainey Room. He built a construction provocation for Kian's friends, wrote messages with them, and worked with his brother at the clay table. After a very full morning, we all enjoyed special birthday cupcakes and fruit. It was a great way to end our week and to celebrate our friend Kian. We love you, Kian!
