Tucker Room

Light, Shadow, Paper, Glue

Today we worked in the studio on building a  collaborative paper sculpture. We used flashlights and a spotlight to see how the paper casts shadows on the table and how the shadows change as we build. When she glued her first piece into place, Grace noticed that it looked like a slide. So then she built a ladder leading up to it. Others added to he structure. Jack worked to figure out how to support two large swirly shapes and together with Sally, he balanced them while securing them with just the right amount of glue. It was fun to build, and exciting to see what we can create together.
