The children have been collecting natural materials and talking a lot about helping their families with yard work. At morning meeting yesterday, Toniann shared two object she found in her yard recently.
Today she shared them again nd we tried to guess what the first one was:
Rowan: Worms come out.
Lou Lou: I think a mouse is coming out.
Leigh: I think it's a snake.
Leigh: Ghosts is too big.
Lou Lou: Baby ghosts can live in there.
We continued the conversation but who or what lives--or used to live in there--but it's still a mystery.
In the classroom, we continued working on our table decorations for the party tomorrow. We tried them out at snack and talked about finishing touches we'll add tomorrow.
Outside we continued practicing our wall walking. Everyone is on their way to being able to do it independently, and the children are learning from watching each other, giving each other suggestions, and trying new strategies.
