Today we had two visits from Brown Room friends. As Sally was working in class this morning, a group of Brown Room children was heading back from the bathroom and Marley stopped in for a visit. She stayed for a while and Sally explained what she was working on and Marley helped her for a bit before she had to rejoin her friends.
Later, the Brown Room children and teachers came to teach us a new song they’re going to debut at sing-along this Friday, “From Head to Toe.” It was great fun and wonderful to see our friends and siblings down the hall.
All week we’ve been corresponding with Rachael while she is away and we’re excited to see her tomorrow. We’ve been corresponding by email and have had so many questions. We wrote her a letter Not only have our letters with Rachael helped us to stay connected, they have allowed us to ask so many questions about where she is and what she’s doing, and about her adventures with her 4-year-old nephew, Caiden, for example:
Did you have a fun weekend in New York?
Did you see birds or fish?
Did you see Louise's cousins?
What does your house look like?
Did you find treasure?
What did you see?
Have you had any game-playing like tennis?
Do you have any games at the house?
Are you having a good trip?
Do you have any funny books?
We liked Caiden's house and that he put sticks around it. Can he come visit us?
What does your brother’s apartment look look like?
What is a beta fish?
What color is the beta fish?
Can you show us how to play the alien game?
Did you see Lou Lou’s cousin?
So many great questions. Such great questioners. Rachael was able to answer some, but many will have to wait for her return tomorrow.
