Today in the Brown Room we were excited to see the projection that was the backdrop for more airplane play. During our time interacting with airplane projection, we are connecting home to school, building relationships and using our imagination to assign, and take on different roles to tell as story. We used what we know about taking trips on an airplane to interact with what we saw in the projection. Enjoy some of these scenarios from today! Will and Austin are our trusty co-pilots! They save the day for everyone aboard by putting fires out from the airplane. Phew! In the end, we all enjoy being together! While in the studio we painted at the easel, used paper to experiment with bridges and 3-D shapes, and some of us finished clay pieces we have been working on. We continue to build relationships by sharing what is happening in our paintings with a friend, and when using the materials in the studio. At the easel we notice these skills come alive. Jossie: The orange is the fire. The fire is building. [When Louise comes over Jossie offers a brush.] Louise: Jossie gave me a brush. Jossie: Because we can share. We can share all the colors. Have a great rest of your day, Brown Room!
