Happy Birthday, Rowan!
Rowan turned three on March 3rd and today we celebrated his birthday at school. Laurel showed photos of Rowan as a baby, , a one-year-old, a two-year-old, and a three-year old! There were photos of the many things Rowan loves including his sisters, Elmo, and dressing up. Rowan's committee had worked hard to create a gift that included some of Rowan's other favorite things: red and pink, firefighters and police officers, and (most importantly) the Philadelphia Eagles!!
The rest of our morning was busy as well. Yesterday we discovered the joys of Zingo, and it was popular again today. Studio work included drawing, painting, and paper sculptures that were similar to the 3D clay work that children did last month. Bridges were built and airplanes took off from runways. Before going outside, we had chapel with Ginny who read "A Sick Day for Amos McGee." There's more fun in store for tomorrow when we welcome the W-TH-F friends!
