An all-school chapel was held this morning. Gini stayed home as she didn't feel well, so Joci and Kate read A Sick Day for Amos McGee (and Gini). There was a great show of hands when Joci and Kate asked if the children knew this beloved story. After chapel the children wanted to continue singing This Little Light of Mine in the classroom.
Happy 3rd birthday, Sally! For the past few days Sally's birthday committee (Sam, Elle, Grace, and Jack) have been hard at work creating her card. From the interview, we learned that Sally likes rabbits, rockets, airplanes, and the colors purple, black, yellow, and red. Sally's mom, Brittney, shared photos from a recent trip to Disney World. Sally loved Mickey Mouse, the Castle, and Aliens. Cupcakes were enjoyed by all at snack time. Thank you, Brittney and Billy. Enjoy these photos from our celebration of Sally.
In the studio the children made impressions in clay and painted at the easel with images of rockets and airplanes. Zingo is beginning to be a favorite classroom game. They get better at it every day.
It's a blustery day! Stay warm and cozy!
