We had an amazing first two days of school. We spent this time reconnecting, sharing stories of our summer, and just enjoying being together again. It’s such a great feeling to return to the familiarity and comfort of St. John’s and the friends we’ve grown to know and love so well. Today’s blog is a mash-up of sorts—moments from the first days of exploring our new space and digging into the work in a big way. We really hit the ground running these first two days. We mixed paints for the new atelier (formerly known as the Tucker Studio); we began decorating our new cubby bags; and we created portfolio nameplates out of clay. We constructed cityscapes, we did jigsaw puzzles, and we wrote messages. We also continued our investigation of insects, asking questions and developing hypotheses. Most of all, we had fun. We’re excited to be with all of our Tucker Room friends tomorrow!
