The school wide Thanksgiving Feast was a joyous success! The children (and families) played such integral roles in bringing it all together. The children participate in material exploration to create work that will contribute to the Thanksgiving Feast day centerpieces. For Brown Room, we took elements of our work so far this year, to include bells, collage, hand sewing (also a bit of collage), and our book fair (nature) collections, to add to the table. The children also contributed by cutting spinach and green beans. The day of provided the opportunity to stir the soup and help decorate the long feast tables with our centerpiece decorations. Then, of course, was chapel and finally soup and muffins, upon which to feast, in a "the more the merrier" type celebration.
