Playing with Paper

Paper is not an unfamiliar material or language for the children and yet when there is a room full of paper it does influence the way a person might see or interact with the material and offer moments of creativity  and discovery. Here are some of the moments and interactions we observed and shared together.

Placed upon or wrapped around our heads... It's a hat!

In process from start (play) to finish (product). Gracie's hat idea was supported with helping wrap the paper.

Wrapping ourselves, covering up, and hiding... The size (width and length) and weight are essential properties for this play.
