Wednesday in the Brown Room Studio

Ever since our family clay event, children have been asking for clay in the studio. Today children worked together to share and use tools, baked “birthday cakes” for one another and held “parties” for their friends.

Cal: It’s a hole. I made it with some chocolate. I don’t see the cutting wire. 
Karen: Can you ask Fay if you could have it when she is done?
Cal: I have it please.
Fay: When I’m done.

Almost done.  Teeny, tiny, teeny, tiny. I’m gonna cut. Emma has to make stripes. I make a birthday cake for Ellie. I’m making a birthday cake for Ellie. Happy birthday Ellie, happy birthday Ellie.
