​It was a little rainy this afternoon, but our small group was determined to go for a walk.  We decided to kick-off the three-day weekend by getting a treat.  The group voted on what kind of treat they would like and cupcakes won.  However, upon arriving at Georgetown Cupcake, the line was long and the sky was getting darker.  We had a quick meeting and decided  we would head to District Doughnuts instead.  We timed it perfectly, arriving there just as the sprinkles turned to real rain.  Funfetti  and Old Fashioned Chocolate were the cupcakes chosen by the children.  As we walked back to school, children with rain boots had a great time jumping in the puddles.  

Have a great long weekend!  There will be no blog entries on Tuesday and Wednesday next week as the faculty have afternoon meetings with Amelia Gambetti!
