 Today we were down to three in KW: Hadley, Vivienne, and Max.  One advantage of a small group is that we can focus on our favorite things.  Lately, children have been very engaged in building with small materials and today Max spent time on a tall house with a baseball stadium nearby.  Here's how he described his work:
"My tall house -- I can look down, down, down to the baseball stadium and see them when they're playing with daddy.  These are the benches where the people sit and res their bodies.  I'm going to build Sted (?) Park.  This is a house.  This kid of house is not called a house, it's a club house.  Is my house-stadium cool?  My nanny has to elevator all the way to my red floor."

Hadley has identified clay as her very favorite thing to do at school.  All three children spent some time working with this material today.  Hadley glazed some of her work from Wednesday and mad a piglet for her pig.  Vivienne made Sofia the first and a very cool mushroom.  Max made a clay portrait of his nanny and his nanny's home.  Max also worked on another hot glue and paint creation.  Enjoy these images and have a great weekend!
