A Look At Our Week!

It's hard to believe, but this is the last full week of January.  In KW, we will continue to work with clay, self-portaits, and wintery materials.  We look forward to sharing these masterpieces with you on Friday during our Gallery Walk.  AS you arrive on Friday morning, we hope you will be able to walk through Blake Hall with your child to see the work of the KW crew on display.  

Other Highlights This Week

• On Thursday evening, the school is hosting an all-school potluck.  This is a great opportunity to eat some yummy food and catch up with other parents and teachers.   
• On Friday morning, Brigitte and Jill are hosting two experiences.  The first is the gallery walk mentioned above.  The second is a Collage Prep Party.  We will set up tables in Blake Hall where family members can cut out images from magazines, old calendars, brochures, etc. We will provide old magazines, but feel free to bring in some as well! These images will be collected for winter collage experiences in KW.  We had a similar event two years ago and it was a lot of fun.  You can see all the images we collected in the photo!

With our Thursday and Friday events and the classroom interim phone calls, the school is a busy place this week.  For this reason, our Wednesday and Friday blogs will be short and sweet.... maybe just a photo with a caption.  We're looking forward to having fun together throughout the week!
