"Oh... Just Making Flowers" - Nora

This week we decided to bring back a few of our favorite languages, wire and paper, and make flowers. The children have used wire throughout the year to create amazing work and continually improve their mastery of the language. With a variety of types of paper at their disposal, the children created beautiful flowers to coincide with outdoor class, whose flowers they noticed are in full bloom. Many of the children garden at home and were excited to bring that expertise to the experience.

Nora: "I'm going to make a triple flower."
​Jack: "I saw you guys making flowers and I figured it out"
Janie: "I can make those. I'm going at that. I made them first in KW."
Lochie: "Oh I can help with that!"

Bea: "I can make (the stem) with the pip cleaners."
Remy: "Oh, I remember those. Can I make them?"
Later on...
Jordan: "What are you cutting?"
Remy: "Grass."
Bea: "Yea grass."
Remy: "We can make grass for the flowers to grow."
Bea: "Mine can attach here."
