Our Last Week!

As our year comes to a close, we are trying to finish up our work. Most of the children's books will be complete and the rest can be finished at home. The children are looking forward to sharing their work with their families!

The children's bags are ready and will be sent home this week!

Building Small

Of course we had to have small world during our last week! Mimi pointed out that the building on the light table is also like small world.

Building Big

Yesterday we children had the opportunity to build with large blocks as well. After starting the building we added projections to further develop their ideas. Some of their reflections:
   Ford - This is better than small world.
   Seon - Both of them are good.
 Wilder - we built high and built with Hogwarts. I like that!
Cape - The whole city seemed bigger (with the projection).
   Mimi - The light made it more beautiful.

Building with a projection of Hogwarts is always popular.

Today children built with the hollow blocks again. Although we didn't use light projection, we added magnatiles to the mix.

Watercolor Work

This week children have been drawing and working with watercolors. Many children painted on paper that had strips of tape on it. Once the paint is dry, they peel off the tape and see the white space that is left.

The weather has been practically perfect! We've been enjoying group games and playing with sand and water while outside. Jack spent some time with us outside today.
