WORKING WITH PAPER
WORKING with WIRE
On Monday before pivoting to a virtual classroom we re-introduced wire. We explored the malleability of wire by bending and sculpting it. We also explored threading it through paper, by first using a hole punch to create an easy insert for the wire. An additional element was a flashlight so that we could highlight the shape and form of some of our wire formations. We had intention to continue this work through the week in the classroom. So it was an obvious choice to continue with wire and paper at home!
More from Monday
Cedar explores the dimensions of light and shadow with a flashlight. When the light source is closer the light coverage is smaller, when the light source is farther away the radius of light increases.
