Valentine's Day Surprises!

It's PJ day at school! - Sylvie

We had so much fun we can barely keep track.
So many valentines! All our friends got a  stack.
What makes it more special? Melanie's back

PJ's with unicorns and hearts galore
We wear them all day, even when we don't snore
Maybe we'll make our own with pink, purple and green
We'll make bright, sparkle and sheen

First we had singalong, Tucker got to sing
Rainey joined in and let our voice ring

But what are these comfy things we brought in?
They are things you sleep in - Sylvie
Our PJ's are comfy, everybody agrees
Mine are beautiful. They have horsies - Jane
I have unicorns. (Janie) I like them, too (Sylvie)
​But if we made our own, what would we do?

I want to make a pink one - Jane
Before I knew it, she'd begun
Choosing beautiful colors as bright as the sun
What if the PJ's had the whole world, even us - Sylvie
We started to work but oh then came a fuss!
With a brand new idea we HAD to discuss

A surprising mistake that made such a smirk
As Lucia and Jane continued to work
I wonder what that's going to do to the black. Look! - Lucia
The bright new creation had Melanie shook!

I found turquoise! It's my favorite. - Lucia
So much excitement! We'll all savor it!
St Johns PJs? We can use our hands
But that's just a beginning. We have more plans
Maybe, paints or bright colored pastels
Even the scary angler fish as well

We collect our cards after waiting all this time

We had all sorts of cards, brightly colored and nice
Flowers and hearts and paper shark bites
But most exotic of all was made by Lucia with ice!
You put in water and put it in the freezer and it turns frozen - Lucia
You can't help but admire the Keymer devotion
Thank to parents, guardians and friends
