Explorers! Week 3, Day 3

Tie Dye!

Today the Explorers  tie dyed white clothing that they brought from home. With assistance from Elyse and Nubia, the children tied rubber bands around their shirts match the tie dye design that they chose. They used blue, yellow, green, red, orange, and purple paint to make cool designs!   We had a blast!

Let's Paint!

Explorers had a lot of fun painting pictures on the easel. Dagny and Ellie began the day mixing their own colors before creating their very own master pieces. 

" Look at my painting! It's abstract!" - Dagny

While children waited to do paper mache, Alice and Aida decided to use the same mixed paint to on their pictures.

Books, Books, & More Books!

Lastly, the Explores continued to work on their book covers. Many children used colored paper, tinfoil, stamps, glitter and more to create their unique designs. 

" Im going to use this ( tinfoil) to make a boat!" - CoCo

Overall we had a fantastic day! Elyse and I can't wait to see all of our Explorers tomorrow!
