Today's Pod A blog post is brought to you by Aida! "We had sing-a-long my favorite song was the Swimming Pool song. Me, Andy and Maren made an ice castle in construction. I had fun building the ice castle! In the studio Dakota, Oliver and Maren worked on sewing ornaments. Some friends also had a turn with digital drawing. I really liked playing with kinetic sand and doing digital drawing. I had fun doing the blog!" (Keep scrolling to see our Family Traditions guest today) Pod B's blog is brought to you today by Cannon! Printing "It was something old that I've already done when I was in Rainey Room. It was printing. You put ink on a piece of glass. You squeeze it down (with another piece of glass). It takes all your muscles. Open it up and you put paper on it and roll it. When you lift the paper it shows you what you made." Construction "At big construction, I made my house small because I didn't want it to crash. Palmer worked on a house for 6 dinos. Lane worked on China house because the top looks like China. There were new blocks for decorations." Painting "We've all been painting with shapes. I did planets. Palmer did a bear. Nora did diamonds. Gigi is also doing planets. The Earth is the one with blue and green." Family Traditions - The Rodriguez FamilyToday we welcomed Stephen over Zoom. He shared with us that Fletcher is named for his great grandfather. He showed us a ship in a bottle that Fletcher's great grandfather made in 1920, when he was a boy. The family heirloom lives in Fletcher's room. Later in his life, John Fletcher moved to New York City to work as a doctor. Everyday on his way to work he drove by the little red lighthouse under the George Washington bridge. So Stephen read us the book, The Little Red Lighthouse and the Great Gray Bridge. There is also a family connection to that book on Stephen's side of the family. The book was given to Stephen by his great grandfather. It was lovely to learn more about the Rodriguez family and listen to a great book!
