Happy Birthday Maren!

Today we celebrated Maren's school birthday. Her parents, baby Ford and Marilou came to celebrate her special day.

Maren's family has a tradition of going to the public library each weekend to check out books.  Today her parents read 2 books that she recently checked out: All Stuffed Up (a Doc McStuffins book) and Dino School: Meet Teddy Rex.

​After the books, Maren opened the gift created by her birthday committee: Palmer, Grace, Lane and Wolf B. They incorporated her favorite colors: purple & rainbow, used gems and beads and even put a small photo of dogs on there since she loves dogs so much. Their creation was made in the shape of the letter M.

Afterward, the class sang to Maren and she walked around the candle 4 times.  Evelyn offered to join her.

Later, the children enjoyed a biscotti and were thrilled to be taking home a special treat as well!
