Update on the Fairy House
(photos from yesterday and today!)

The children have made a new and improved fairy house.  After researching other fairies houses in books from our library, they made a list of desired house features and got to work.  They brought natural materials upstairs, then gathered special rocks, gems, shells, leaves, and more from the Tucker closet.

Quotes from Research, gathering and materials assembly:

Emilia: Leaves, for resting.
Palmer: They can stand on a cliff if they want.
Gigi: This is some moss I really like.  We should use this one (feathers)
Grace: We need bucket for their resting.
Gigi: I think all these leaves around it make it nice and cool.  So when it's hot they can cool off.

Outside today:
Our Evolving Doctor Play...
Oliver: I'm gonna sit here and drive the ambulance.

Olivia and Maren record Ellie's name at her appointment.  Then, when Ellie tells them she's having pain in her hand, they record that information on a diagram of the human body.
