September 10th, 2019

The past two days have been such a wonderful re-introduction to St. Johns for both children and teachers!  We had such a lovely time chatting and playing together again.  At meeting, some children shared their impressions of the room.  Evelyn said, "I like this pretty Rainey Room."  Oliver said, "Maybe we can have a dance party (in here)."  We discussed Emilia's recent birthday party.  Alexandra said, "I went to her birthday.  And I got little marshmallows."  Maren said, "I got face paint but I had to get it off."  Both days, we talked about how we will have all 15 children at school every day this year.

Cannon: "The new Wolf will be there". 
Oliver: "There'll be two Wolfs"

Wolf M: "Wolf  B and Wolf M."  
Lane: "We might be crowded in here." 
Olivia: "I can't wait for Evelyn to be here."

Summer Talk
Ellie: I went to San Diego to see the sea lions and the shells.
Grace: I went to Nantucket to the beach and saw my cousins.
Palmer: I went to the beach and saw my beach cousins.
Cannon: I saw five turtles.
Evelyn: I saw a dolphin, a daddy dolphin, and it's bigger than me.  It splashed me.
