This morning we delivered the messages for the new Brown Room friends. The children reflected on how these messages would make the new Brown Room children feel, "happy."

Today the children finished working on their summer experience collages. Fletcher worked on train tracks, Olivia added gems, Oliver incorporated representation for "Baby Eena" (his favorite stuffed giraffe). The bottom right shows Emilia's finished collage. She drew her dad, cut him out and glued him on.

Outside the group of children interested in the fairy house had lots of questions and ideas.

Grace: If we leave the fairies one present, maybe they will leave us two! But where can we get presents?
Lane: Magic dust? (a present idea)

Later, the group spent a long time cleaning the fairy house.
Lane: Let's make it shinier so the fairies will come.
Maren: If we do it long (scrub), then it will be clean.
Grace: Are you cleaning with water?
Emilia: Yeah, just grab a sponge.
