​It was so wonderful to see everyone during our Home Visits and Welcome Parties. After a long hiatus, we look forward to seeing our friends again next week.

Since we’ve been gone for so long, Rainey Room will be focusing on settling in, staying safe and healthy, and reconnecting as we begin the new school year. As we get more comfortable and confident being back at school together, we will extend our foci and intentions to going deeper into connecting, photography, movement, and revisiting where we left off last year with exploring maps.

Our intention, to start, is to focus on the social emotional skills in the classroom as we connect with teachers, peers and the changing world around us. We hope to make this an amazing year! In addition, Rainey room would like to thank our room parents Jecca and Carola for all your support.

We will continue to use the blog and Seesaw as platforms to keep you informed and connected to the classroom interactions, work, and environment. We have posted a video of the classroom environment to Seesaw for you to “walk around” with your child. Until the children are actually in the classroom, we wish you all a wonderful long weekend and cannot wait to reconnect with everyone in person (and remotely)!
