Exploring Color and Charcoal- Rainey Room B

Today Rainey Room B was very busy! Jenn Azzariti dropped by and we had the chance to experiment with charcoal for the first time. Sylvie and Jane in particular really loved the messy experience. We used large sheets of different types of paper so that children could practice working together in the projects. Melanie continued to explore paints and color.

As we continue to learn more about movement, proprioception and dance we practiced creating poses with drawing mannequins. Sylvie suggested one child could pose while the others recreate that action on the mannequins.

"We can play a game with one person making a pose on the yoga mat and a person makes poses with the man (mannequin)" - Sylvie
