Make it, Bake it, Cut it! - Lochie
Earlier this week we brainstormed a special valentines treat to bake as part of our celebration. We quickly settled on brownies as its something we haven’t made before, but is quite the beloved treat. However, we quickly ran into a problem: How can we make the brownies a heart shape? George had the answer suggesting “cookie cutters!” To which Lochie replied “we have lots of christmas cookie cutters. Then mommy bought one for easter! Its shaped like an uhh egg!”. Jack hearing the exchange chimed in with “maybe we could get some heart shaped ones”. Luckily for everyone, Brigitte had some at her house and today we baked our delicious, heart-shaped brownies!
When we weren’t cooking we spent our day making more valentines for friends and chatting about our pajamas!
Elena: What makes your favorite pajamas, your favorite pajamas?
Elle: I like to wear dresses and be cozy
George: I love cars and they’re cozy!
Lochie: I love skeletons because they are in our bodies
Jack: I have new Elsa dress PJs that I haven't bring to school yet because it’s always in the washer.
Elle: When I’m sleeping in my bed, my mommy or my dad sometimes put me in bed with my clothes or my dresses!
Lochie: This is pieces of paper and they draw white on it and then they heated it and freezed it and then sewed the fabric. It’s glow in the dark.
George: It’s sewing to put the cars on my pajamas. They didn’t draw they sewed.
We passed out our valentines and then shared some Valentines stories. All in all, a wonderful, heart filled day. Have a wonderful, long weekend!
