Building "Snow Wonderland"The snow continues to bring us fun and inspiration in Rainey Room B. Yesterday Sylvie had a great idea: "We could hang snow from wire and pretend it's snowing" - Sylvie Rainey Room B took the idea and ran with it. We decided to use the snow and snowballs we made yesterday and add them to clouds we have been working on to make something even more special. Our continued interest in precipitation, first rain and now snow, brought us to the realization that we could create the storms here in the classroom and use the stage as its center. We worked on fine motor skills and critical thinking with wire, paper and foam as we build the "Snow Wonderland." Look what I made - Jane Can I hang it up? - Sylvie Ok. I'll make more - Jane Can I help, Maxon? - Janie You can use mine (wire cutters), Jane. Mine are sharper. I'll show you how. - Maxon I can cut wire - Jane I'm going to make a house made out of snow now - Janie Day 2 of our "Snow Wonderland"
