A Morning of Classroom Stories 

 After yesterday’s silhouette exploration, everyone was excited to get back to the projector. We carved out time at the end of the day where everyone could tell their own story using a handful of the silhouettes. We've dedicated today's blog to the individual stories they each came up with. Enjoy!

Jack

Once upon a time there was a hippo. The hippo wanted a best friend, then a star flew over the hippo. He saw the octopus and asked if the octopus wanted to be his best friend. The octopus said yes, but he was just a friend, not the hippos best friend, so hippo kept looking. The End. ​

Lochie 

​Once upon a time there was a sun, but the sun wasn’t glowing. So a candle came and I said I’ll help you glow! Then the candle went away. The End

​There was a swing that really wanted to go to space. Then the french fry standed up and went over and upside down. Then the rocketship flipped upside down. That’s the end.

Elle

Once upon a time there was two dogs. The big dog was looking for a seashell but the other dog said “lets look right now”. Then the dog said, "we can both have a seashell". Then they built a rocketship and went to space. The end!

Violet and George (who decided they wanted to do a "double story") 

V: So a long time ago there was a boat and a face. The face went up to a heater. And the sun went down. 
G: And the boat crashed. I don’t know what it crashed into.
V: They went upside down. 
G & V: The End
