Maxon: “Will we see real houses today?"

Continuing our house research

I like this one because its cloudy - Maxon

Is already Thursday? Where did this week go? Rainey Room didn't even notice. We were too busy building house for our animals friends.  Before going out on our neighborhood walk, we thought about how we could make houses in our classroom. How tall do walls have to be? How can we connect with our friends? Do they have bathrooms? 

Melanie: What we will find in the houses?
Janie: Refrigerators. Toys.
Lucia: People
Maxon: wood
Janie: dollhouse
Maxon: wooden house, brick house, straw house
Jane: a kitchen 

It has to be stronger. So that you can’t knock it over - Lucia

Of course now that the houses were built, the animals had to go play together!

After we build our animal houses, we walked about Georgetown to take a closer took at the houses nearby. Maybe we could find some inspiration here or learn what the houses were even doing there.
