In our continued effort to explore the ocean through a variety of Reggio languages, today we embarked on weaving. While weaving with paper was certainly a popular exploration in the Fall, today we tried our hand at weaving with fabric. For some the difference in texture was immediately apparent. CC: It makes a noise when you do the fabric that has holes when I go under. Lochie: Over, under and then you have to crush it up so you can fit more fabric. Look, I’m going over, under. The other weaving at home we didn’t crush because it wasn’t like this (fabric). CC: What about this blue? I’ve never tried this before. Jack: Sometimes I do it 2 pieces of fabric at a time so maybe that’s how I did it fast?
Elle: This is the mommy angler fish, she’s a little blue like the picture. Big thanks to Brittney Godoy for joining us as mystery reader today!
