Rain, Rain go away!Today we had planned to work on round two of our nature prints, but the weather had different ideas. Instead, we changed our vision and continued on with the watercoloring and weaving that we have been enjoying so much this week. Lochie: This is two parts. This is the ocean and this is the sky. Violet: I’m making a rainbow, Ms. Elena. I like the colors. Lochie: When this is dry, I’m going to make more watercolors and I’m going to make a whole ocean book! Jack: Elena, I made a sunset. I need to add more color because sometimes sunsets have a little more blue. Lochie: Oh yeah, remember the ocean usually has a little bit of blue and green! Elle: My ocean is going to be shiny because I like the shiny pieces! CC: Remember not to crunch too much because you want to have space. Elle: Oh yeah, thanks CC! Like this? We also had a private preview of our classroom stories presentation. Everyone was delighted to see themselves and all their hard work on screen! We can't wait for parents to see it tomorrow! ![]() Lochie and Jack also began a joke where they chastise Mr. Grumps (our fish's new name) for being "tooooo loud!". According to the two of them Mr. Grumps was being sooo loud during our morning meeting they had to bring Mr. Toad, a veteran of the school day, into the classroom to ask Mr. Grumps to politely stay quiet during our busy day!
