​On Monday when we walked in the classroom we had a beautiful message from Ms. Elyse waiting for us! In the message Ms. Elyse told us she had been so inspired by our many different  obstacle courses that she decided to create her own obstacle course messages using lots of small paper pieces. Both her message to the group and the individual messages that were waiting in our mailboxes featured beautiful, foil paper done up to look like intricate courses. 


Today we had a chance to sit down and respond to her messages with our own collaged courses. We opted for blue foil and tissue paper to make our courses, taking the time to problem solve where each piece would fit and connect best.

Outside Jack, Violet and Elle problem-solved a new kind of obstacle course which used long, wooden planks
​“for balancing” that connected us from the sandbox area to the playset.
