It was dramatic play all day! Last night our light table area transformed into a miniature world, which Marley, George and Elle adored!
Marley: Look at the girls
George: And a bunk bed!
Marley: I found my horse and my bunny.
George: Look what I found, a gem!
Marley: What do you want to be?
Elle: I don’t want to be a girl.
Marley: Hey, come in the swimming pool with us, a lady bug, and a panda.
George: Wow and a zebra, a stingray and an elephant. Wow.
Marley: I’m going to be a lady bug.
George: Look, carrots!
Marley: You can’t eat the bunny’s carrots and look at this. Its a family of frogs.
George: A lego baguette. It’s night time. I sleep on the log. The dog wants to sleep up ther.e
Marley: Let’s go in the cold pool, now its time for me to go in the warm pool. Let’s go to bed, now let’s go together here. Cock a doodle doo, it’s time to wake up. That’s a yummy dream.
On the other side of the classroom, Violet and CC told stories through drawing. Using sharpies and transparent paper. They added additional details and storylines to our ocean backdrop, just in miniature!
Lochie and Jack enjoyed time at our Rainey A Restaurant which now features an actual cash register!
Lochie: What do you want from the store?
Elle: Tea please.
Lochie: One tea please, cooker!
Jack: You can have a free sample, but after you have to pay.
Lochie: That’s $1 and one penny, good thanks. My job is track the money.
