Important Thanksgiving Information

​If your child has requested to bring in a "tree branch" (think medium sized stick that can fit in a large vase) it is because we plan to create a class thankful tree as one of our centerpieces to be displayed on the table during our feast.

The children had the idea to bring in branches and beautiful leaves to help create our tree.
Perhaps you will find something interesting on your walk to school?
​We will complete this project by the end of the week, so please have your child bring in their findings as soon as possible.

If your child has also shared that they would like to bring in their clay soup bowl
(the ones we created and used during our thanksgiving feast last year in Rainey Room),
they are correct!
Some children expressed the desire to bring their bowls to school for this year's feast and we thought it was such a meaningful recollection. 
You may send in your child's clay bowl anytime from now until feast day. 
​We will rinse the bowls and send them home with you following our meal together next Tuesday, November 22nd.

If you could please let us know which family members will be attending the all school feast next week, we would greatly appreciate it as it helps us prepare the table settings beforehand.
