ECES - Visiting Educators' Day

Tomorrow, December 6th is ECES here at St. John's.  We will have approximately 27 visiting educators who will spend time observing the classrooms, touring the school, and our fabulous KW duo (Jill and Brigitte) will present about the Guardian Project (2021-2022). 

There will not be a blog tomorrow.  In the meantime, here are a few photos of the children exploring paper (all types of paper) and then paper with the addition of the light table.  

We encourage you to look at these photos with your children and consider: 

- What do they remember? 
-What did they discover about paper? 
-What are the properties of paper that they explored (texture, movement, shape, translucency, transparency, thickness, weight)? 
-How can you change paper? 
-How does light change paper? 
-What is a collage? 
-How can we use paper?
