Going for a Shadow Walk

Lane shared the above theory before we headed out for our shadow walk today. We have been wondering what thoughts the children have about shadows relationships to the sun. So far we know they believe the shadow is there when it is sunny and it is not there when it is cloudy or night time. Today's walk is one method we planned to provoke children's thinking on the topic. We set out with the intention of finding our shadows and tracing both our bodies and shadows.
