The Magical Mosaic - Abby

Today, we took inspiration from our previous work and the Tucker Room to create a new kind of mosaic. But, first thing's first, we need to make paint.

Maise and Rain are making similar colors. - Yoyo
Power Pink! - Maisie

My paint looks like a hotdog with mustard and ketchup - Flecther

I added black and got this color. It's like a very dark purple - Olivia

Once we created the colors we wanted to use, it was time to prep our base. We chose a large, strong base and took turns adding painters tape to create a unique pattern.

We need to make lots on lines like the one Tucker made. The colors can't touch when we paint. - Ada

Ballet Performance

Today seemed like a great day for a spontaneous ballet recital. After finding some music and gathering an audience, we let our dancers take it away!

Finishing Up Wind Chimes

Some friends continued to assemble their wind chimes today. Some have decided that they will apply mod podge tomorrow so that the paint on their wind chimes is protected from rainfall.

Maisey decided to add bells to her wind chime.
​"It gives it a little more jingle."
