Last Day of Session 1

Session 1 is over already? Where does the time go? Not to worry! We finished up with an amazing glow party. It's not good bye, just see you later. While we will definitely miss all our friends who are not coming back, we look forward to meeting new friends and saying hello to old ones in Session 2.

Illuminating Loom work
Picture
When we aren't dancing, the Explorers like to weave and sew. We had several simultaneous projects. We practiced weaving at the large loom. We tried out sewing clothing for dolls. We even glued fabric to our paper mâché robots! Origami has also been very popular here with the Explorers. Palmer, Lily and other friends have been reading the Origami book and teaching younger students how to fold cats, flowers and boats.

We used the loom in Tucker Room. You go in and out! Let me show you how to do it! It has to stay straight so you can fit more fabric in it - Palmer
