Saying goodbye to Session 1

"It's rocks. Slippery. Tada!" - Ramsey

Today marked the end of Session 1 of camp. We said goodbye to our friends Louisa, Reed, and Ford, and celebrated with lots of indoor and outdoor play and by dancing to the goldfish song! Reed, with the help of Ford, made everyone waffles, pancakes, and whipped cream for breakfast outside as a parting gift. Throughout this session, we have explored collages, clay, and paint, and have enjoyed three water days. We'll miss our friends that are leaving, but we're excited to welcome three new friends on Monday!

Marbling with Shaving Cream

We ended this week's exploration of paint by using dropper and water colors to create marble effects on shaving cream. Some created "paintings" by using the tray of marbled shaving cream to make imprints on paper, while others just enjoyed playing with the shaving cream!
